Pooja Mandirs are an important part of all religious persons and an important aspect of Indian Hindu homes. It is considered auspicious to have a pooja mandir at home. It is a sacred place where we install the holy idols and photo frames of the respective deities along with the other holy puja articles. It is believed that having an abode for the deities in the house attracts positive energy, keeps the negativity and evil energies at bay and protects the dwelling and the family members living in that house from mishaps and any sort of bad omen. Only after bathing one could enter this holy abode. No stranger or house help were allowed to enter the holy Puja mandir.
